New camera, new perspective.
There's nothing like blowing a bunch of cash to bring a little excitement into your life.

After I finished school for photography, I promptly abandoned it. All the cords and F stops and technical jargon was too much for me. So for the last 10 years I've just satiated my lust for images with a very simple point and shoot digital camera. They're portable and to the point, but very limited. I started to really miss being able to make creative choices in-camera, and I really missed depth of field. It can be so beautiful when the image isn't all flattened out and in focus. So I went and got myself a little digital SLR, and I'm in love. I'm seeing the world through brand new eyes!

Wedding Project
My friend JoDee is getting married, and instead of numbering tables for the seating assignments she's decided to name each table after a location she's traveled with her soon-to-be husband. My assignment, as a helpful bridesmaid, is to create little illustrations for the locations. It's actually turned out to be a fun project! 6 more to go...

The Expert.
I found this old business card online and knew I needed to have one for myself, so I whipped one up today. My version is no way near as cool as the original. I had a hell of a time trying to match those awesome old fonts. It probably wouldn't be so hard if I had some dough to spend on buying them, but I had to rely on what I've got and free fonts. Sigh. I'm going to finesse it a little bit and get them printed. haha, The Expert!
